In early February, the Olho D’Agua river in Bonita, Brazil received a large amount of rain which in turn caused flooding in the surrounding areas and jungle. A park guide from the Recanto Ecologico Rio da Prata ecotourism group captured this stunning footage as they walk down the once dry path.
Even with the flooding, the waters of the Olho D’Agua river remained crystal clear due to the purity of the surrounding ecosystem. This is primarily because the area is part of a Private Reserve of the Natural Patrimony or PRNP for short, which is a conservation group in Brazil.
The group that took the footage said this:
This was a rare episode, and by the end of the day the river had returned to its normal level. We would like to inform that on this date the tour operated normally until the 1st stretch, which, although it is also above normal, all the tourists left satisfied because they experienced a different and special day in the attraction!
